Crunchy Snack

My rhino friend and I both enjoy crunchy snacks.

Personally, I think my potato chips taste better than his twigs.

To be fair, I must admit that I haven’t tried his twigs and he hasn’t tried my potato chips.

We may never know if one of us could convince the other to switch snacks.

For now, it is, “to each his own.”

Luna Moth

Visually, what I like most about the Luna Moth is the overall shape.

It reminds me of a stealth glider.

That, combined with the two eyespots, makes me think it would fit well in a SciFi story.

We could call it, “Invasion of the Luna Moths.”

Here’s the story that unfolded before my camera.

As my friends will tell you, I have a calm personality for an otter.

It takes considerable irritation before I complain.

Have you ever known anyone like this guy, always in your face?

I’m ready to say, “Back off, Jack.”

These flamingos were beak wrestling.

Perhaps that’s their version of arm wrestling.

I wonder what it would be like to see flamingos do leg wrestling.

In my mind’s eye, that seems highly amusing.

Power Nap

According to the National Sleep Foundation, naps can be beneficial, though napping does not work for all people.

Have you tried napping?

Usually, naps are most beneficial if you take them in the early to middle afternoon.

The ideal length appears to be about 20 minutes.

Naps can make you more alert, reduce mistakes, and improve mood.
