Baby Baboon

To me, all babies are cute. This baby bacon was a special guest at a birthday party.

If you could invite any animal baby to your birthday party, which one would you invite?

Cheetah Tail

The primary purpose of the cheetah’s tail is to maintain balance when they run and make quick turns.

Some people think they also use their tails for signaling.

If so, what signal is this cheetah sending?

Is This My House?

It was a long walk from a hard day’s work and I may have turned onto the wrong path.

I don’t see the house number, but I think this is my house.

Rothschild Silkmoth

Here’s a striking member of the silkmoth family.

The Rothschild Silkmoth has a transparent panel on each of its four wings.

If you look closely, you can see through the panels in the photo to see the plant behind its wings.

Hop To It

When someone tells me to, “Hop to it,” I take that to mean that I’m supposed to get busy with the task.

On the other hand, this kangaroo seems to hop to it for the sheer joy of it.

Perhaps I can learn something from him.

Eye of the Tiger

What is it about the eye of the tiger?

Do you stop moving because the eyes hypnotize you or does fear immobilize you?

The eyes draw me in so that I have trouble breaking my gaze.
