Fast Tortoise

Just because we have a reputation for moving slowly doesn’t mean we can’t occasionally be fast.

Think about it. Why move fast unless there’s a good reason?

Real Smile?

Do tortoises smile?

This looks like a smile to me, but it looks permanent.

Is it really a smile if your face always looks that way?

Doesn’t a real smile mean that you are happy about something?

Is this turtle always happy?

Stuck in the Mud

What does it mean to be “stuck in the mud”?

It is the inability to complete a task either because you don’t understand how to do it or lack the will to do it.

Can being stuck in the mud be a good thing?

Failure to Communicate

Does this scene remind you of the movie, Cool Hand Luke?

“What we’ve got here is failure to communicate.”

We’re stuck. What now?

Is the “winner” the one who refuses to move, much like playing a ridiculous game of “chicken.”

Who will be the bigger tortoise and make way for the other?

Naps are Good

I think naps are good and this tortoise agrees.

Guess what? We’re not the only ones.

The “trusty” internet told me that many famous people were nap takers:

  • Leonardo da Vinci
  • Napoleon
  • Albert Einstein
  • Eleanor Roosevelt
  • John F. Kennedy
  • Winston Churchill
  • Ronald Reagan

Pardon me, it’s time for my nap.
