I caught a photo of Radi with an expression that seemed to be asking me, “What’s up?”

I’ve noticed that many people now say, “Sup?”

Is this a form of verbal laziness?

Perhaps the reason we say it is that our thumbs are tired from texting.

It’s easier to type “sup” than, “what’s been happening with you lately?”
