Look at this amazing water sculpture.
I call it an elephant fountain.
If I had a huge yard, I think this would be perfect for me.

It had to have taken a great deal of skill to craft this spider and web out of wood.
I appreciate what the artist did.
I’m also thankful this is not a real spider.
It’s about 8×10 feet.
Can you imagine a spider that large?
It’s beyond spooky.
When can it be a good thing for ants to attack?
When they attack other insects that damage crops, it’s a good thing.
Without the ant attacks, many animals would die from starvation.
I doubt it would be a good thing if they were the size you see in this photo (just sayin’).

Dan Ostermiller, an artist from Colorado, creates metal animal sculptures that he prefers to place outdoors.
One thing unique about his sculptures is that he gives each one its own personality including facial expressions.
I found one of his bears at Powell Gardens in Kingsville, Missouri, USA.

Have you ever looked up at the clouds and seen shapes?
For me, nature is a form of art.
As with other forms of art, we see different things when we look at them.
To me, this tree looks like an elephant.
My Aunt Pam sees a buzzard.
What do you see when you look at this tree?

I must admit, it was easier to take a photo of this butterfly than what I usually experience.
I didn’t have to hold still to not frighten it.
I didn’t have to wait for it to give me the angle I wanted.
Also, I didn’t have to use a special lens.
Ah, the advantage of Legos.

To me, the antenna coming out of the shoulder of this Lego butterfly seems odd.
On the other hand, this butterfly has an impressive 8-foot wingspan.
Sean Kenney used over 60,000 pieces on it and spent 4-months building it.
Overall, it’s an incredible sculpture.

From a distance, this looks like a scene you might see on the prairie.
Upon closer inspection, you will see these are remarkable Lego sculptures.

Shakespeare said,
“What’s in a name?
that which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet.”
That’s a good point.
The opposite is also true.
Just because you call something a rose doesn’t mean it will smell sweet.
Here’s my photographic proof.
This rose is made of Legos.
No sweet smell there.
