Nature’s Alarm Clock

Before alarm clocks jolted us awake to an abrupt start of our day, roosters let us know the day had begun.

It isn’t the light that triggers their crowing.

It doesn’t matter if the day is overcast.

They have internal clocks that let them know the day has begun.

Chicken, Not Scared

I didn’t expect to take a photo of a chicken, but this one seemed to have something to say,

“I don’t frighten easily. Why do people use the word, ‘chicken’ to describe someone who is afraid?

Personally, I think they should say, ‘scaredy cat’ instead.”
