At first, this appeared to be an ordinary house cat.
The Sand Cat lives in deserts and is able to withstand temperatures from below freezing to well over 100 degrees.
One interesting feature is the fur between their toes that protects their feet from the burning hot sand.

My photo reminded me of the expression, “Curiosity killed the cat.”
I think it means that sometimes our curiosity can get us into trouble.
As a photographer, I like exploring, so I’ll take the risk.
Besides, the second half of the expression is, “Satisfaction brought him back.”
