Are you musically inclined?
If there’s not a traditional musical instrument around, do you improvise?
This looks like flute playing even though I suspect the sound won’t qualify as flute music.

This is an Emerald Swallowtail; however, when I see it through my lens, it appears blue rather than green.

Sushi is not a popular dish in my family.
After my camera saw how it makes this polar bear smile, it made me want to give sushi another try.

The kookaburra is an eastern Australian bird of the kingfisher family whose call sounds like fiendish laughter.
There’s even a fun song about that laugh.
Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree
Merry, merry king of the bush is he.
Laugh, Kookaburra, laugh Kookaburra!

What they lack is their black pigment.

I think the buoyancy of the water melts away any stress he has.
There’s something about feeling lighter that is relaxing.

It was a quiet day in the yard.
I was enjoying a mouthful of food, when something odd happened.
A strange green ball floated over my head.
There were different theories about what it might be.
Some of my friends said it was a UFO.
Others said it was a dispenser with surprise treats inside.
I was okay either way.
After lunch, I decided to investigate.
What do you think I discovered?

Though always I seek
to give, to love, to share
sometimes I wonder why
I am lacking so forlornly
in being able
to turn inward
this giving heart
