Even though people call me a weaver, I think of myself as a skilled architect. I build large, grassy nests that contain several rooms. I line the exterior of my nest and the area around the entrance with thorny twigs. This discourages predators.

Matayo enrolled in the Dogwarts School. He was nervous about letting the sorting hat place him in one of the four houses.

Laundry Day
Doing laundry is not easy. That wash board wears me out. I’ve been working on trying to find something good in every situation. That’s called optimism. Let’s see, something good about laundry day, hmmm. On laundry day, I get to wear my bandana. That’s good. I know how to rock a bandana.
Shaggy Doo
Don’t look at me that way. I know I need a haircut. At least that’s what you say when my hair gets this long. Personally, I like it long and a little unkempt. I am not a prissy dog. This is my Shaggy Doo. Why do you always take me to get haircuts?

Thanksgiving Indian
Matayo wanted to dress up for Thanksgiving. He had a difficult time deciding whether to wear his pilgrim suit or his Indian suit. I think the feathers had a big effect on his choice.
