Cozy Refuge

Wouldn’t you like to be able to make a cozy refuge for yourself like this one?

It’s loosely woven which allows you to see what is going on around you.

At the same time, it’s difficult for others to see you.

How to Blend-in

I’ve been reading about how to blend-in with my environment.

  • Step-1=Wear colors and patterns that seem to look like everything around you.
  • Step-2=Move slowly and gracefully. Make no sudden moves.

I captured a photo of an animal that illustrates these steps in how to blend-in.

Over-sized Toothpick

Doesn’t it drive you crazy when you get something stuck between your teeth?

My dentist cautioned me to be careful with toothpicks because they could damage my gums.

This photo made me wonder what the dentist would say about this over-sized toothpick.

Koala Grip

The koala has opposable thumbs and toes to allow a tight grip when climbing.

They also have rough pads on the undersurface of their hands and feet to increase tractions while they climb.

That is fascinating, but my favorite thing about koalas is that they take a good photo.

Bath or Shower?

Are you a shower person or bath person?

To me the difference is related to how you approach problems.

Would you rather:

  • quickly wash troubles down the drain?
  • let them melt away in a soothing tub of water?

What choice do you think our cardinal friend prefers?

No Turning Back

This photo reminds me of times when I’m on the edge and there is no turning back.

The only question is, “Will I slide into the water gracefully or will I make a clumsy splash?”

Buffalo Stare Down

Have you ever had a stare down with someone?

It’s easy.

All you have to do is stare at a person or animal until that person or animal blinks or turns away from you.

Ready? Let’s play.

I bet you blink first.
